It's an unfortunate fact that Xbox 360s are tough to hook up in cars and planes. Some Halo 3 fans have undoubtedly managed it, but for the rest of us, there's Halo: The Cole Protocol to keep us going between team slayer matches.

Though I've loved strategy-role-playing games since my first clumsy efforts with Final Fantasy Tactics, the Disgaea series has always failed to excite me in the same way it does a sizable niche of Nippon Ichi faithful. Several attempts at trudging through the original PlayStation 2 version left me unsure about what so many others seemed to love about it. Instead of pushing through it, I silently accepted my apathy toward Disgaea and moved on. But when I received this DS port of the PSP port of the original game for review, I realized that I was going to have to once again explore my rocky relationship with the series.

The thin veil that exists between fantasy and reality became slightly more transparent this morning when Harmonix and MTV Games announced that gamers rocking out to Rock Band 2 can now order customizable assets for their "band" by visiting the new specialty shop on the Rock Band website.
